Executive assistants must establish loyalty to their directors or management and stakeholder interests. That is not always easy. Sometimes dilemmas arise in the work that can clash with your own moral compass.  Consulting your colleagues or peers is often difficult. This website provides  guidance and practical information to solve those dilemmas and lead you to a better outcome.

Purpose

Dilemma-Assist wants to assist executive assistants with ethical dilemmas in relation to good governance (corporate governance) of their organization. This website provides a platform for help and advice, but also relevant, practical information, tips and publications that deal with the many aspects of governance. We hope this website will become a versatile reference work focused on the specific role of executive assistants in organizations. Our mission: ‘Integrity of the executive assistant and director must be the example for the entire organisation and thereby contribute to good governance of organisations’.

How does it work?

Under ‘Dilemmas’ anonymous cases are classified by topic. These include comments and opinions from colleagues. You can also respond yourself. If you can’t find your dilemma on the website and you want advice or even personal spruce? Then you can fill out the contact form. One of our trusted people will then contact you. Of course discretion is guaranteed. Under ‘Practical’ you will find information about the topics that are discussed on the website.
